Roxxanne MacDonald

Consumers Health Forum of Australia

Roxxanne MacDonald is a director of Consumers Health Forum of Australia and spokesperson for their Youth Health Forum, Australia’s peak youth health consumer body. She uses her lived experience of complex mental illness and being a young carer in her advocacy work. Her focuses include complex mental illness, alternative models of care, consumer engagement, youth participation in governance, social determinants of health, and community belonging.

She is also a member of Australian Association for Adolescent Health and the Wellbeing Economy Alliance, Previously, Roxxanne was a member of Orygen’s Youth Advisory Council, Amnesty International Australia’s Youth Advisory Group, Disability Officer at UQ, and a speaker with Batyr.
