Julia Svaganovic

Julia is the Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Conference Coordinator at GetAboutAble. She is an experienced event planner, creative producer and lifelong powerchair user. Among other projects, she spent nine years in key positions running the speculative fiction convention Continuum and co-founded the @WeAreDisabled Twitter project which was created to give Deaf and Disabled people a platform to speak about their lives, experiences and disability issues. Julia served 5 years, including as vice president, on the committee of Powerchair Sports Victoria and and currently serves on the board of the Australian Powerchair Hockey Association.
