Cliff Fraser
Cliff is an advocate for ‘Raise the Rate’ and social justice. He has always believed that everyone should have the right to live their life how it best suits them.
In his youth Cliff worked in the building industry. At 18 he joined the army for 6 years.
Cliff has worked at a variety of jobs but mainly as an interstate truckie.
In 1992 Cliff decided to give up being a truckie and returned to school full time for a year earning a Certificate IV in Computer Technology. With his new accreditation, Cliff and his wife started a business with another couple that turned over $10M in the first year. And then they literally walked away from it.
Cliff spent some time teaching computers in a number of Community houses before returning to truck driving.
Now he works part time as a school cleaner and says it is the most satisfying job he has ever had.
Throughout all of this he has been a thorn in the side of many Members of Parliament. He used to write actual letters on paper before email.
