Charlee-Sue is a Ngemba woman from North Western NSW with a background in campaigning for constitutional reform, Indigenous health and advocating for more inclusive water rights for Aboriginal peoples. She is passionate and deeply committed to social change for First Nations communities with a strong interest in political advocacy, decision-making and water policy. She is also interested in Australian nationalism and Australian history.

Charlee-Sue currently sits as an Advisor to the Human Rights Commission Wiyi Yani U Thagani (Womens Voices) project that seeks to understand the strengths and challenges of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women from across the Country. She is a co-founder of the Brewarrina Mission Working Group, an annual community event and heritage restoration project. Charlee-Sue is also a board member for Dusseldorp Forum Board and Co-Chair to the Lendlease RAP Advisory Committee. She has her Masters of Public Policy from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Anthropology from ANU.
