Amra Lee
Amra holds over 14 years of experience as a humanitarian practitioner and researcher with extended field experience in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Her expertise includes strategic analysis, advocacy and response related to protection, principled access, refugees, children and youth, conflict sensitivity, and sexual and gender-based violence.
Amra is passionate about addressing inequality, social exclusion and conflict prevention, and strengthening evidence-based decision making and policy related to humanitarian protection and aid in countries affected by or at risk of violent conflict.
She has a Bachelor of Arts/ Law, Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and Master's in Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development from the Australian National University, and a Diploma in International Humanitarian Law from the International Committee of the Red Cross. Amra was recently a Rotary Peace Fellow at Uppsala University Sweden (2018-19) and is a PHD candidate at the ANU for 2021.
Amra is currently based in the Pacific with the World Food Program, winners of the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize.
